Fast and Slow 👉 On Energetic Preparation
Fast and slow are subjective. Your inner guidance prompts speed and pace very intentionally.
Do not compare your pace to the pace of others. Efficiency in the use of energy is not directly related to the speed at which energy is being spent.
Your energy – your "current-cy" in this physical world is not only being directed toward the movement and maintenance of objects of a physical nature. There are also forms of other types that require your attention and your energy.
It is easier and "more efficient" to direct the crystallization of matter before it has become. So– by attending to beliefs, by attending to emotions, by attending to thoughts, your physical world crystallizes in formations that need less changing, less rearrangement.
It's like planning for an event or a trip. You put things in place beforehand and the experience is more likely to be predictable and enjoyable. There will still be manifestations you were not expecting but these are an opportunity for increasing your awareness and expanding your capacity to love what is.
Do you see what we mean?
If someone hires a party planner but gives them very little direction about the type of event they are holding, how many people are expected, what the schedule of events will be... they will be rushing around on the day of the event, calling around to find more chairs, setting up a projector screen and fighting with HDMI cables, sending early guests to the kitchen to make sandwiches.
They might feel heroic as they get their party into place and make the best of the day, but you should not observe this chaotic scene and think you should also be stressed and rushing around when your party has been planned for months ahead of time.
Every day of your physical experience is a party you have planned vibrationally or left to unconscious conditioning and the planning of others (usually subject to more unconscious conditioning). By choosing beliefs ahead of time, being open to receiving your preference (not just wanting it), you set yourself up to "direct" and "curate" rather than "force" your life into place.
At a certain stage of evolution, forcing/pushing/maneuvering is no longer an option anyway. It represents a disconnect between who you really are and what is showing up for you. A need to force and rush represents a sticking point that you can choose to overcome or battle with. People with a lot of physical energy and will tend to battle longer, because they can and they don't always know there is a different way. But even they will eventually hit physical limitations and have to reassess their approach.
Follow speed when it is inspired by your life.
Follow slowness when the space for it is presented.
Don't identify too closely with one or the other. Both are useful in turn and destructive when employed to excess. Fast AND slow – not either-or.
About this message: In my nightly meditation ritual, I pose the question, "what does my eternal self wish me to know?" It's an attempt to connect with my truer self, the one beyond personality and cultural conditioning, the one who is and was and is to come – what some would call "the soul." Through automatic writing, the response is relayed without conscious attention and as much authenticity of feeling as possible. The messages often surprise me or alter my perspective deeply. They are always filled with love and assurance, which I have had a hard time finding in this life.
